Vacation and paid holidays

Adobe provides time off so you can relax and recharge. Please make arrangements with your manager before taking time off.

How much you earn

Full-time employees and interns earn 30 days of vacation each year after completing one year of service. You should try to take the full 30 days of vacation each year, but you also have the option to cash out 10 of your vacation days each year if you choose not to use them. To cash out your vacation days, visit Workday > Time Off and Leave > Request Leave of Time Off > Brazil Vacation Time Off Cash Out.

Make sure to request your vacation cash-out at least 30 days in advance so that payroll has time to process your request before your vacation starts.

Discuss your planned time off with your manager, complete the Adobe Brazil Vacation Request Form [PDF] (providing a copy to your manager and emailing a copy to paylatam@adobe.com), and submit your request for vacation days through Workday.

Paid holidays 2024

Brazil employees are eligible for up to 17 paid holidays.

If it’s not possible for you to take these days off due to business-critical obligations, please work with your manager to schedule your time off on another day. If the global wellbeing day falls on a public holiday, we do not offer an alternative day off in lieu.
