Find in-network providers

Log in to the Aetna website (or SSO) to search for network doctors and facilities in the Aetna Choice POS II Network. In Utah, search the Utah Connected Network for 2023 and Aetna Extended Network for 2024.

Remember, you can save a lot [PDF] when you use network providers for all your care, including routine visits, surgical procedures, lab tests [PDF], and outpatient or inpatient behavioral health care [PDF]. Network providers also file claims and get necessary advance approvals, so you don’t have to.

Virtual primary care

Build a relationship with a dedicated Teladoc virtual primary care provider who'll take the time to get to know you and your unique needs and goals. Watch a one-minute overview.

You can call or send an in-app message to your care team or schedule a video visit with your virtual provider, and you’ll get a response within 24 hours. They can help you:

  • Schedule routine care, like wellness checkups
  • Manage chronic issues
  • Get referrals to in-person care or lab screenings
  • Get new prescriptions and refills
  • Access your health records

You can get in-person care when you need it, and you can access Teladoc 24/7 general medical urgent care, mental health counseling, and dermatology services.

You pay $145 for your first virtual primary care visit, $65 for each additional visit if you’re in your deductible phase, and $0 for preventive care. After you meet your deductible, the plan pays 100% of the visit cost.

To get started, go to Teladoc Primary360, and use your Aetna member ID to set up your account. Aetna members with a Teladoc account do not need to reregister.

Teladoc telemedicine

With a virtual visit through Teladoc, you can consult with a U.S.-licensed doctor or therapist for:

  • Nonemergency medical conditions, such as flu, allergies, or sinus infections.
  • Dermatology issues, such as psoriasis, eczema, or acne. Upload images of a skin issue, and get a custom treatment plan within two days.
  • Mental health care, such as help with anxiety, eating disorders, or depression. Talk to a therapist seven days a week, 7 am to 9 pm local time.
  • Prescriptions sent directly to your pharmacy.

You’ll pay less [PDF] when you use Teladoc instead of seeing a clinician in person. And after you meet your deductible, the plan pays 100% of the visit cost.

Get started by visiting Teladoc or downloading the Teladoc app (App Store | Google Play) and registering with your Aetna member ID. If you have questions, call 855-835-2362.

Care while traveling

If you’re traveling within the U.S., call 800-884-9565 to find a network provider. If no network provider is available, or you’re traveling outside the U.S., the Aetna plans cover eligible services under your out-of-network benefits. You’ll need to pay up front and then submit a claim to Aetna with an itemized receipt for the services.
