Sick time

Sick time pay

Adobe provides paid sick time to all employees, in alignment with local laws.

Based on Armenian legislation, your first day of sick leave is unpaid. Beginning Day 2, Adobe pays sick leave at the statutory level (about 80% of basic salary) for up to 120 successive days, or 140 total days in any 12-month period.

If you’re on sick leave due to a work-related injury or illness, you can return to your job when you’re fully recovered. If your illness or injury is not work related, you are guaranteed your job if you are out for no more than 120 successive days, or 140 days total within 12 months.

Taking sick time off

To take time off due to an illness, contact your manager before 9:30 a.m. to explain that you are sick and indicate when you hope to return to work.

You must consult your doctor and obtain a medical certificate confirming you are unable to work from Day 1 of absence.

Submit a request to the Employee Resource Center (ERC) and upload a photo of the medical certificate issued by your doctor within three days of its issue date. Please retain the original certificate as you will also need to provide it to Adobe.

If you can access Workday, please mark the days you are sick (see instructions).
