Learn about who is eligible for benefits and what is required, if anything, to enrol or get reimbursed.

Medical

Statutory health insurance

All regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns with an annual gross income less than €69.00 in 2024 are required to have statutory health insurance (Gesetzliche Krankenversicherung or GKV).

You are required to submit your GKV membership certificates within five days from your hire date via My Adobe Benefits to ensure that contributions are paid to the correct Krankenkassen.

If you don’t provide your GKV membership certificate, it will be registered by Adobe with the Techniker Krankenkasse.

If your insurer has posted the certificate to Adobe’s office address, their office reception can provide you with the scan so you can upload it via My Adobe Benefits.

Private medical insurance

All regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns with an annual gross income higher than €69.00 in 2024 per year (Jahresarbeitsentgeltgrenze) may enroll in private medical insurance (Private Krankenversicherung or PKV).

Vision reimbursement

Adobe regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns are all automatically eligible for reimbursement for vision checks and approved eyewear; no enrolment is required.

Pension plan

All regular employees are automatically enrolled in the mandatory company-paid pension plan from the date of hire. To access your account and contribute to the voluntary (Entgeltumwandlung) salary sacrifice arrangement, refer to the pension plan page.

Life insurance

All regular employees and Adobe-paid temps up to the age of 67 are automatically enrolled in life insurance on the date of hire, at no cost. The benefit is subject to deferred taxation. Employees do not need to nominate a beneficiary but can register a civil union partner as their beneficiary.

Disability insurance

All regular employees are automatically enrolled in disability insurance on the date of hire. Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns are not covered.

All regular employees are automatically enrolled in accident insurance on the date of hire. Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns are not covered.

Business travel

All regular, Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns are automatically enrolled in the plan on the date of hire. Your membership in the plan will cease on your 65th birthday or if you leave Adobe, whichever event occurs first.

Employee stock purchase plan

You may enrol in the employee stock purchase plan at any time during the year for the next available offering period.
