Child care benefit programme

Pay for care for your small children and save on taxes. Adobe offers a salary sacrifice option that lets you contribute as much as you would like each month, with no limit, to the Ticket Guardería programme through Edenred.

Eligibility

All regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns are eligible for the benefit. In addition, to be eligible, you must:

  • Be the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom you are paying for child care
  • Have a child age 0–3 attending the first cycle of preschool education

How the programme works

  • You decide how much salary to defer to the Ticket Guardería progamme, which will be exempt from Personal Income Tax (IRPF).
  • You select an affiliated Edenred child care centre. Visit the Edenred website to search for participating centres. You can also request that your centre be added if they don’t already participate.
  • Payment to your chosen nursery will be made by Edenred each month, once funds have been received from Adobe around the first working day of each month.

What age group does Ticket Guardería cover?

Ticket Guardería is valid for the first cycle of preschool education, which covers from birth to the end of the school year in the year of the child’s third birthday. So, parents can use Ticket Guardería until the child is 2 or 3 years old, depending on the child’s date of birth. If the child’s birthday is in December, for example, Ticket Guardería will become ineffective when they are still 2 years old. At this age, they will have finished the last school year of the first stage of early childhood education.
