Want to sign up for a benefit plan or make changes to one you’re already enrolled in? To do so, review the deadlines and processes below.
Medical and dental
You can enrol in medical and dental when you join Adobe, during the open enrolment period in March, or following a qualifying life cycle event.
You have 30 days from your hire date to enrol. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period or select during a life cycle event (birth, marriage, divorce, etc.).
Note that during the open enrolment period, if you do not make changes, any current medical or dental selections will carry over.
Steps to enrol
- Go to My Adobe Benefits > Benefits Selection.
Select [Private] Medical Insurance. - Select the cover you want, providing dependant details if you enrol others in the plan.
- Click Add to cart > Checkout > Confirm Selection.
Adding a named dependant(s) to the medical plan
- Review or add to your list of named dependants by selecting Dependants from the Quick Links drop-down menu.
- From the portal home page, select Benefits Selection > Private Medical Plan > View > Select level of cover > Add Dependant.
To enrol in dental insurance, go back to the Benefits Selection, and select Dental Insurance to select the cover you want and to add dependants to your plan.
You will receive an email confirmation of your choices. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please log back in to My Adobe Benefits to ensure there are no outstanding tasks to complete.
When cover begins
If you have submitted your enrolment request before the 20th of the month, your insurance will be effective from the first day of the month following your selection of the benefit.
You will receive an email from Bupa confirming your membership during the second week of the next month following your enrolment, however, your coverage will still be effective the first day of the month following your selection. If you have a question about the status of your membership, please call Bupa Direct, Medical: 03456 090444 Dental: 0800 237 777.
Changing your medical and dental enrolment
You may add a new dependant (for example, a new spouse, a new baby, or adopted child) to your medical and dental plans within 30 days of a life cycle event (marriage, divorce, birth, or adoption). Valid documentation of the qualifying life event may be requested.
You may also change plans at that time and add any previously eligible but uncovered dependants. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period.
