Who is eligible for Adobe medical and dental plans?
All regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns are eligible to participate in the medical and dental plans. You may also cover your spouse or domestic partner and children up to age 24.
How do I add a family member to the health insurance plan?
You can add a dependant to your medical insurance by visiting My Adobe Benefits (powered by Darwin). This can be done either when you join the company, during our annual open enrolment period in March, or following a qualifying life event, such as marriage or birth of a child.
Medical
To supplement your national health insurance, Adobe offers private medical insurance through Bupa to help manage your health care needs.
Private health insurance works alongside the National Health Service (NHS) and provides employees and their dependants access to the private health care sector, specialists, and hospital beds. Please review the Medical Plan Guide [PDF] to view the comprehensive cover available.
Medical plan features
The Bupa medical plan provides cover for muscle, bone, or joint conditions, and treatment for cancer and mental health to help you get back to good health as quickly as possible. Bupa cover also includes services for fertility, menopause, LGBTQIA+ benefits, plus easy access to care through Bupa Touch and the Babylon digital platform.
Adobe also offers additional resources such as the Peppy Health app to help you manage your health.
Receiving your membership details
Register and log in to Bupa Touch, where you can access your membership number, request health and dental treatment, make claims and review policy details. For more information, see Introducing Bupa Touch [PDF].
To register for Bupa Touch, you will need to create an account using your first and last name, postcode and date of birth that matches your data in Workday. Follow the create account instruction on the registration page.
Fertility cover
Your Bupa insurance includes assisted fertility cover up to a £15,000 lifetime allowance combined for you and your partner, including:
- IVF (in vitro fertilisation)
- Embryo freezing – 12 months
- Consultations, pathology or scans, assisted conception, surgical operation
- Outpatient drugs integral to assisted fertility
Menopause Plan
The Menopause Plan offers you pathways to tailored treatment and care, with support from a menopause-trained general practitioner (GP). When you book an appointment, you can choose whether you’d like a face-to-face, video, or phone visit. Call Bupa menopause team on 0333 920 6411 to get started.
LGBTQIA+ benefits
Your Bupa medical insurance includes tier 1 gender dysphoria cover, which includes a diagnosis of gender dysphoria. Cover consists of:
- Outpatient consultations with consultant psychiatrist, chartered clinical psychologist, and consultant endocrinologist, payable subject to benefit limit
- Initial consultation about hormone replacement therapy

Talk to a nurse 24/7 for general health and wellbeing advice: Members can call Bupa’s Anytime HealthLine on 0345 604 0537.
Get support for family emotional wellbeing: Visit the Family Mental Health Support page for details on emotional support for children. Parents and carers can call 0345 2667 938 between 6.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to connect with trained advisers and mental health nurses for support.
Medical premium cost
Adobe funds the premium for employees, their spouse or partner, and unmarried children through the renewal date following their 24th birthday. (Note: It is not possible to cover siblings, parents, or other members of the extended family.)
The premium paid for employees and their dependants is considered a benefit-in-kind and will be subject to UK income tax, which will be deducted via the monthly payroll.
Annual premium rates for April 2022 to March 2023 are:
- Single cover – £716.77
- Couple cover – £1,433.54
- Family cover – £1,791.92
- Single parent cover – £1,075.15
Dental
All regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns, and their eligible dependants are eligible to participate in private dental care through Bupa. You can access care through a Bupa-owned dental centre, or any other dental centre. If you choose to use any other dental centre, you’ll need to pay for your treatment yourself and claim some or all of it back, depending on the limits of your cover.
Dental cover
Dental insurance covers preventive treatments (check-ups, scale, and polish), remedial treatments (fillings, extractions, dentures, and crowns), emergency treatments, and oral cancer treatment.
Dental premium cost

Peppy Health app
All Adobe UK employees and their partners or spouses have complimentary access to Peppy Menopause, Peppy Fertility, and Women’s and Men’s health services providing one-of-a-kind personalised support, including one-to-one access to experts, online resources, moderated group chats, and more.

How to get started
- Download the Peppy Health app (App Store or Google Play).
- Register each service separately with your Adobe email address. (If your partner is signing up, they need to register with your Adobe email address and then add their personal email to their profile.)
- Enter your personal email address* and an anonymous chat username, and create a password.
- Complete the brief introduction questionnaire, and you are set!
- Please email support@peppy.health if you need any support with the Peppy app.
*Your personal email address will be used for communications along with the in-app chat function.
Vision reimbursement
Keeping your vision accurate and having fresh glasses or contact lenses is a must, so that you can keep seeing the world in your unique way.
Adobe will reimburse regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns for the cost of one sight test per year and the cost of eyewear (glasses, frames, lenses, contact lenses) up to an annual maximum of £160.
Vision reimbursement is not currently classified as a benefit-in-kind and is not taxable. Accessories such as cases, micro bags, and cleaning kits do not qualify for reimbursement.
How to claim your reimbursement
Follow these steps to file a claim through My Adobe Benefits:
- Log in to My Adobe Benefits.
- Go to Reimbursement section, and select Make a Claim.
- Select Vision Reimbursement under Type of claim.
- Enter Receipt date and amount, and select > Next > Next > Finish.
After you submit all receipts and your claim is fully approved, reimbursements will be issued through payroll and could take one to two months to process, depending on when your claim is received in the payroll cycle.
