Adobe provides paid time off (PTO) so you can relax and recharge or attend to personal needs. Please make arrangements with your manager before taking time off.
Annual leave
You are entitled to annual leave, combined with both statutory leave and company leave, based on how long you’ve been with Adobe. In addition, you are eligible for paid holidays and breaks, regardless of your length of service.
Taking annual leave
You can take annual leave in increments of a half day or a full day.
Please make arrangements with your manager, and then submit your request through Workday before taking time off.
Carry over: You can carry over up to 15 days of unused annual leave days from one calendar year to the next. Statutory leave can be carried over for one year only. Unused leave will be carried over to the next year as follows:
- Statutory leave earned in the current year
- Company leave earned in the previous and current year
Borrow leave: You can borrow up to 5 days of future Company leave.
Leave caps: The maximum accrual of leave is capped at 30 days. Any unused annual leave in excess of 15 days will be forfeited on January 1.
How many days of annual leave are you entitled to?
Annual leave is accrued on a monthly basis. As a full-time employee, you accrue 15 days of paid annual leave each year for your first three years, then increasing by one day each year on each anniversary, up to a maximum of 22 days. The annual leave accrual will be capped at 30 days per year.
For new hires who join midyear, the annual leave amount will be prorated based on the number of months remaining in the year.
Refer to the table below for annual leave details.
