Sick leave
Sick leave is for when you are sick with an illness that may affect those you work with, or if you need to take care of an ill family member. You are entitled to 30 days of sick leave per calendar year.
Please submit your sick leave leave request through Workday. When you have a sickness, you are required to keep the original medical certificate you receive for at least 12 months and to provide it to Adobe upon request.
Prenatal exam leave
Adobe will grant you one half (1/2) day per month during your pregnancy to undertake medical examinations. Time off you take for prenatal exams will be deemed to be working time, provided that you obtain your manager's prior approval.
Please submit your request through Workday before taking time off. You are required to retain relevant documentation (e.g., doctor’s notes, etc.) for at least 12 months and provide this to Adobe upon request.
Miscarriage leave
Female employees in China are entitled to statutory miscarriage leave. The amount of leave time depends on the length of pregnancy: up to four months, the entitlement is 15 days of leave; greater than four months, the entitlement is 42 days of leave. Where local regulation provides more favorable leave benefits, the local regulation will prevail.

Please submit your application through Workday, and upload your mandatory doctor’s certificate. If you require additional time away from work, you may also use bereavement time off.
Remember that you can ask for access to counseling support through the employee assistance program (EAP).
