Next steps
When you have decided on the type of parental leave that you wish to take, please follow these steps:
- Speak to your manager at least 10 weeks before starting the leave, and agree on the dates for your leave.
- Review the China Maternity and Paternity Leave Policy and the APJ Maternity and Paternity Leave FAQs.
- If you have any questions, submit a request via the Support Center.
We understand that it may be hard to predict how long you will be away from work. If you alter your start and/or end dates, please submit a request via the Support Center at least 15 days in advance to avoid any payroll implications.
How rewards are affected during a leave of absence
These benefits are considered a leave of absence. Whilst on a leave of absence, your benefits (including health insurance and retirement payments), time off (including annual leave accruals), and compensation (for example salary, AIP, commission, and equity) may be affected. Please refer to the Rewards impact during an LOA document [PDF] for further information.
