Enrol and make changes

Want to sign up for a benefit plan or make changes to one you’re already enrolled in? To do so, review the deadlines and processes below.

Medical

You can enrol in medical when you join Adobe, during the open enrolment period in January, or within 30 days of experiencing a qualifying life event (birth, marriage, divorce, etc.).

You have 30 days from your hire date to enrol. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period or select during a life event (birth, marriage, divorce, etc.).

Note that during the open enrolment period, if you do not make changes, any current medical selection will carry over.

Steps to enrol

  1. Go to My Adobe Benefits > Available Benefits.
  2. Select Medical Insurance > Enrol.
  3. Select level of cover; then complete the LCR Questionnaire. 
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Review your selections, and click Confirm.

Adding a named dependant(s) to the medical plan

  1. Return to My Benefit Selections, and click Update.
  2. Ensure that you select the same level of cover that you have for yourself.
  3. Select the named dependants to add to your cover.
  4. Complete required information, and click Create.

Review or add to your list of named dependants by clicking your name in the upper right corner and selecting My Account > Dependants.

You will receive an email confirmation of your choices. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please log back in to My Adobe Benefits to ensure that there are no outstanding tasks to complete.

When cover begins

Your insurance will be effective from the first day of the month following your selection of the benefit.

Changing your medical enrolment

You may add a new dependant (for example, a new spouse, a new baby, or adopted child) to your medical plan within 30 days of a life event (marriage, divorce, birth, or adoption). Valid documentation of the qualifying life event may be requested.

You may also change plans at that time and add any previously eligible but uncovered dependants. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period.

Vision reimbursement

Adobe regular employees, Adobe-paid temporary employees, and interns are all automatically eligible for reimbursement for vision checks and approved eyewear; no enrolment is required.

Financial and survivor benefits

Pension plan

All eligible Adobe employees, including Adobe-paid temps and interns, who are under age 65 are eligible for membership in the pension plan.

How to join the plan or change your contributions

  1. Go to My Adobe Benefits > My Benefit Selections.
  2. Select Pension Plan > Update.
  3. Choose your preferred contribution level.
  4. Click Continue > Confirm.

A message will pop up if you’ve successfully submitted your selections. You will be automatically enrolled in the default investment. If you want to change your investment, visit Mercer OneView.

Money Matters by nudge

New users can register here. To set up your profile, please have your employee ID available, which you can locate on Workday. If you are already registered, log in (SSO).

Income protection insurance

All regular employees are automatically enrolled in income protection insurance on the date of hire, provided they are not within 26 weeks of their 65th birthday or state pension age, if higher. Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns are not covered.

Life insurance

All regular employees and interns under age 65 are automatically enrolled in life insurance on the date of hire, at no cost.

Employees must nominate their beneficiaries to ensure that any payment can be made at the required time. Visit My Adobe Benefits to nominate or change your beneficiaries; you can change them at any time while you are employed by Adobe. Be sure to keep them up to date!

  1. Select your name (in the upper right corner) > My account > Beneficiaries > Life Insurance.
  2. Add or edit beneficiaries.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Add the percentage, making sure the total is 100%.
  5. Select that the information provided is correct.
  6. Click Save.

A confirmation message should pop up if you’ve successfully submitted your selections.

Business travel

All regular, Adobe-paid temporary employees and interns are automatically enrolled in the plan on the date of hire. Your membership in the plan will cease on your 65th birthday or if you leave Adobe, whichever event occurs first.

Employee stock purchase plan

You may enrol in the employee stock purchase plan at any time during the year for the next available offering period.
