Medical

To supplement your national health insurance, Adobe offers private medical insurance through Gan (via Mercer) to help manage your health care needs.

Private health insurance works along with statutory cover and provides employees and their dependants (spouse or partner and children) access to the private health care sector, specialists, and hospitals. Cover includes medical assistance, hospitalisation, dental, vision, maternity, and chemist’s costs. Please review the Medical Plan Guide (French) [PDF] to view the comprehensive cover available.

Two options depending on your needs

Adobe provides a Base Private Medical Insurance plan, as well as an Optional Medical Insurance plan, which offers increased cover for hospitalisation and vision benefits.

Medical premium cost

Adobe funds 75% of the premium for employees, their partners, and children, while the employee covers the remaining 25% of the premium for the Base Medical Insurance plan.

The cost for Optional Medical Insurance is covered by the employee. Subscription to the plan will be stated on each employee’s monthly pay slip and be visible on My Adobe Benefits. (Note that it is not possible to cover siblings, parents, or other members of the extended family.)

Monthly premium rates for January to December 2024 are:

Cost per familyEmployeeEmployer
Base Plan:
4,55% of PMSS*
€43,95€131,86
Optional Plan:
0,31% of PMSS*
€12,10n/a

* PMSS refers to plafond mensuel de la sécurité sociale, the monthly social security coefficient.

Employees do not pay tax on any costs reimbursed through the Private Medical Insurance scheme or on the cost of the medical insurance.
