Enrol and make changes

Sign up for a benefit plan or make changes to one you’re already enrolled in.

Medical and dental

Enrolment is restricted to the open enrolment period, which is held in June each year. Any current medical or dental selections will carry over if you do not make changes during the enrolment period.

Medical

New hires will be automatically added to the medical plan effective the first of the month following their hire date. This applies to employees only (regular, Adobe paid-temps and interns).

If you have dependants you wish to cover, note that they are not automatically enrolled in the medical plan. You can add dependants to your medical plan selection following your starting at Adobe, during the open enrollment period in June of each year or after a qualifying life event.

To add dependants to your medical plan:

  1. Select My Benefit Selections.
  2. Select Private Medical Insurance under My active selections.
  3. Click Update.
  4. Select update your dependants.
  5. Follow instructions to add a dependant.

Dental

New hires must enrol within 30 days from their hire dates or during the next open enrolment period. You cannot join the dental plan if you are not part of the medical plan.

Any eligible dependants must be added to the medical and the dental plan within 30 days of the hire date. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period or select during a life cycle event (birth, marriage, divorce, etc.). Valid documentation of the qualifying life event may be requested. Any dependents added to the dental plan must be added to the medical plan in advance.

Steps to enrol

Visit My Adobe Benefits (powered by Benify) to enrol.

  1. Click on Available Benefits to add dental insurance.
  2. Select Dental Insurance.
  3. Click Enrol.
  4. Select update your dependants and provide dependant details if you enrol others in the plan.
  5. Check that the right dependants have been added to the plan and the coverage level got updated accordingly
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Review your selections, acknowledge that you’ve read and accept the terms and conditions, and click Confirm.

You will receive an email confirmation of your choices. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please log back in to My Adobe Benefits, and check that there are no outstanding tasks to complete. Your medical insurance will become effective on the first of the month following enrolment.

Changes made to your medical or dental insurance will become effective of the first of the month following enrolment.

Changing your medical and dental enrolment 

During a life event or open enrolment window, you may add a new dependant (for example, a new spouse, a new baby, or adopted child) to your medical and dental plans within 30 days of the date of the marriage, birth, or adoption.

You may also opt out of or in to the medical and dental plans and/or add any previously eligible but uncovered dependants. If you miss this enrolment window, you’ll have to wait until the next open enrolment period.

If you are going on a period of leave and wish to opt out of the dental or private medical insurance, please email myadobebenefits@stradaglobal.com, or log in to My Adobe Benefits and click on support channel on the home page for support with this. Please note that if you opt out, you may only opt back in during the June open enrolment window.

Financial and survivor benefits

Pension plan

All regular and Adobe-paid temporary employees will be automatically enrolled from their dates of hire in the state pension plan (pillar 1) and privately managed pension plan (pillar 2), and can voluntarily join the pillar 3 plan throughout the year.

Steps to enrol in the voluntary pillar 3 plan

  1. Log in to My Adobe Benefits to join the plan.
  2. Once you have made your selection, you will receive an email to meet with Mercer and sign the NN application form; be sure to bring your national ID card to complete the enrolment process.
  3. Contributions from you and Adobe will then be deducted beginning the month following enrolment completion.

Once enrolled in the NN pillar 3 plan, you can access your NN pension account, check how your fund is performing, and manage your pension account.

Business travel

All regular, Adobe-paid temps and interns are automatically enrolled in the plan on the date of hire. Your membership in the plan will cease on your 65th birthday or if you leave Adobe, whichever event occurs first.

Life, disability, and critical illness insurance

You’re automatically enrolled in life, disability, and critical illness insurance when you are hired. 

Employee stock purchase plan

You may enrol in the employee stock purchase plan at any time during the year for the next available offering period.
