Long-term disability (LTD) insurance provides income protection for you if you are unable to work due to an illness or accident.
The plan also covers disability due to mental illness (up to 2 years) and disability due to an accident resulting from a natural disaster.
The benefits are payable at 60% of 1/12 of your annual salary, up to a maximum of ¥1,500,000 as long as you are age 65 or younger and complete the 90-day waiting period.
Adobe offers the LTD insurance in partnership with Chubb Insurance. All regular employees, Adobe paid temps (full time), and interns (over 20 hours per week) are eligible.
