Life insurance provides financial protection for you and your family. You are eligible to participate if you are a regular employee scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week. These benefits are administered by Kotak Life Insurance.
Group term life insurance
Adobe provides group term life insurance at no cost to you. The benefit is three times your annual fixed salary, with a maximum of ₹3,50,00,000. The insurer is Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
The beneficiary nomination process is through My Adobe Benefits.
You will receive an email from My Adobe Benefits within two days of your hire date regarding the nomination process. If you do not receive the email please contact the ERC.
You can update your nomination anytime in the case of a life event (such as marriage, birth of child/adoption, death of a beneficiary, etc.) or if you simply wish to update your nomination without a life event occurring.
Voluntary retail life insurance
This benefit is optional coverage that’s in addition to the group term life insurance provided by Adobe. Participation is voluntary, and you can purchase coverage up to certain amounts. Details are in the Voluntary retail life insurance policy [PDF].
How to sign up

Group personal accident insurance
Group personal accident insurance (GPA) protects you and your family financially in case of death or disability due to an accident. Under this insurance, you’ll be paid according to the Group Personal Accident Insurance policy [PDF]. This sum is ₹40,00,000 for all regular employees.
Payments can only be made in India and in Indian Rupees.

Employee deposit linked insurance
Employee deposit linked insurance (EDLI) is a statutory benefit that provides insurance coverage in the eventuality of demise of the member (employee).
In the unfortunate event of an employee death, this insurance provides compensation/payment up to a defined financial limit of INR 7,00,000, /- to the legal nominee of the employee.
EDLI contributions will be made to EPFO effective February 2021 onwards. The employee/nominee can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org, in case claim related information is required.
