Life Insurance provides financial protection for you and your family. You are eligible to participate if you are a regular employee scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week. These benefits are administered by Kotak Life Insurance.
Group Term Life Insurance
Adobe provides Group Term Life Insurance at no cost to you. The benefit is 2 times your annual fixed salary, with a minimum of INR 1,500,000 and a maximum of INR 25,000,000. You’ll be asked to complete a paper form on your first day to name a beneficiary for Group Term Life Insurance.
Top Up Life Insurance
This benefit is optional coverage that’s in addition to the Group Term Life Insurance provided by Adobe. Participation is voluntary, and you can purchase coverage up to certain amounts. Details are in the Group Term Life Insurance Policy [PDF].
The cost varies from year to year. You can see the list of costs during enrollment. A new enrollment period starts on April 1, 2019.
How to sign up
- Complete the enrollment form [PDF] and medical questionnaire [PDF] and pay for your coverage by sending a check to the current relationship manager. Contact the ERC for the most up-to-date contact information.
- Follow the medical underwriting process.
- If medical tests are not required, then a Certificate of Insurance will be issued to use within 8 working days.
- If medical tests are required, then your Certificate of Insurance will be issued after any medical and underwriting decisions have been made. If you leave Adobe, we’ll prorate the premium and refund it to you.
Group Personal Accident Insurance
Group Personal Accident insurance (GPA) protects you and your family financially if you die or are disabled due to an accident. Under this insurance, you’ll be paid according to the Group Personal Accident Insurance policy [PDF]. This sum is INR 20,00,000 for all regular employees.
Payments can only be made in India and in Indian Rupees.
