You save with the Aetna network
With the HealthSave and HealthSave Basic medical plans, you can use an out-of-network provider, but you will pay significantly more. You will be responsible for any charges above the plan’s recognized charges [PDF], and the charges the plan doesn’t cover will not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
The Aetna HealthSelect EPO is an in-network-only plan. This means you must use network providers in the Aetna Select network or if in Utah, the Aetna Extended (In Network Only) network for services to be covered. There is no coverage for out-of-network care, except in an emergency.
