You save with the Aetna network
The Aetna HealthSelect EPO offers access to a broad network of providers, helping you access quality care while keeping costs predictable. To receive coverage, use providers in the Aetna Select network or, if you live in Utah, the Aetna Extended (In Network Only) network. Out-of-network care is not covered except in emergencies.
With the HealthSave and HealthSave Basic plans, using in-network providers helps you get the most value from your benefits. You can use out-of-network providers, but you'll pay significantly more through higher deductibles, higher out-of-pocket maximums, lower plan coverage, and charges above the plan’s recognized charges [PDF]. These additional charges do not count toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
