For grads

Welcome to Adobe! We’re so glad you’ve arrived. You have some great benefits here—from help paying off student debt to ways to stay healthy—and we want you to take advantage of them.

We know most degree programs don’t include Employee Benefits 101, so we put together this page to explain the basics. To get all the details, you’ll want to explore the rest of this site.

The clock’s ticking

You have just 15 days from your hire date to enroll in most benefits, so get on it before it’s too late. (Your next chance will be during Open Enrollment in the fall.)

Enrolling in benefits

These are the benefits you need to choose within 15 days. If you don’t enroll, you’ll be enrolled automatically in Aetna HealthSave Basic medical, VSP Basic vision and Delta Dental—but those might not be the plans you want.

Medical

Even if you’re young and healthy, you need medical coverage. You’ll have free preventive care to help you stay healthy, and you’ll be covered for the unexpected accident or illness.

Adobe has great plans, of course, but if you’re covered on someone else’s plan, like your spouse/partner’s or your parents’ plan, you can opt out and get a credit. If you waive Adobe coverage, you’ll get $25 from Adobe every pay period.

Health Savings Account

When you enroll in an Aetna plan, you’re eligible to open a Health Savings Account (HSA). An HSA lets you stash away pretax dollars to pay for health expenses now or save to use later—even if you leave Adobe. And, depending on the Aetna plan you pick, Adobe may also contribute to your HSA.

Dental and vision

Adobe offers a dental plan to keep your teeth in tip-top shape and your choice of two vision plans to keep you seeing clearly.

Financial health

Financial health is an important part of a happy and successful life. That’s why Adobe offers a variety of programs to help you take care of money needs today and save for the future.

Claim your free money

When you put money in your 401(k), Adobe matches half of your contributions—up to 6% of your pay. Don’t miss out on this money.

Get the most out of the Adobe 401(k) plan

While retirement may be the furthest thing from your mind, starting to save for the future now through the 401(k) retirement plan lets you harness the power of compounding. This is finance-speak for how your account can grow over time and make a major difference in your financial wellbeing later.

Plus, when you contribute to the plan, so does Adobe. The company will match 50 cents for every dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your pay. As a new hire, you’re automatically enrolled in the plan to defer 6% of your pretax pay, saving you taxes and ensuring that you earn the full company match. You can contribute more, of course, but be sure to at least keep contributing the 6%—otherwise, you’re giving up free money!

Talk to a money coach

Adobe offers you unlimited free money coaching. These one-on-one phone sessions are confidential and conducted with certified financial planners, tax experts and other specialists. Discuss subjects like debt, credit, spending, mortgages, loans, taxes, retirement, investing and more. Register at adobe.mysecureadvantage.com, or call My Secure Advantage at 888-724-2326 to get started.

Buy Adobe stock at a discount

Purchase Adobe stock at a discounted price that’s at least 15% below the fair market value through the employee stock purchase plan (ESPP). You can enroll twice each year, in June and December.
